Pricing
At Storm Sprinklers, we believe in clear, honest pricing with zero confusion or surprise charges. Our spring sprinkler tune-up service in Utah starts at $249 for up to 6 sprinkler zones, which covers most standard residential irrigation systems. For larger properties, we simply add $15 per additional zone, making it easy to understand exactly what your sprinkler system activation will cost. Most homeowners end up paying between $249 and $275 for their annual sprinkler startup, depending on the size of their yard and how many zones their irrigation system uses. Additional service fees may apply in some areas to account for extra drive time or high demand. This simple, transparent pricing reflects our commitment to fair rates and high-quality service across all of our irrigation work.
During every spring sprinkler tune-up, our technicians fully pressurize your system, walk through each zone, adjust every head for optimal coverage, test valves and pressure, and ensure your lawn sprinkler system is ready for Utah’s dry summer months. By choosing Storm Sprinklers, you get fast, professional sprinkler activation, upfront pricing, and reliable service from a trusted local Utah company. Homeowners across Provo, Orem, Lehi, Saratoga Springs, and Salt Lake City rely on us for sprinkler tune-ups, sprinkler repairs, and irrigation system maintenance because we make the process easy, predictable, and built around your lawn’s long-term health.

Frequently Asked Questions
When you book an appointment with us, we give you a 2 hour arrival window. Then, our technician will text you when they are on the way. Once there, they will turn on the water to your sprinkler system and inspect it for any leaks or issues. This process usually takes 45-60 minutes.
If we find broken heads, cracked lines, faulty valves, electrical issues, or winter damage, we’ll send photos and provide clear pricing before doing any repairs. You stay fully in control—no work is done without your approval.
In Utah, when you turn on your sprinkler system depends on the weather we are having and your city regulations. Many cities in Utah County as well as Salt Lake County use pressurized irrigation, also known as secondary water, as the source of water for sprinkler systems. If you are in a pressurized irrigation city such as Spanish Fork, Lehi, Mapleton, or Bluffdale, you need to wait until your city turns on the water. Usually this is between April 15-May 1. If your sprinkler system runs on standard culinary water, like in Provo, Orem, and Salt Lake City, you should turn on your sprinkler system once your grass starts changing colors. Usually after snow melts, grass stays green for a few weeks. It is not until your grass starts to turn yellow that you need to begin running your irrigation system. Wondering about the information specific to your city? Go to our full scheduling guide for more in-depth information on sprinkler programming and startup dates.
When you turn on your lawn sprinkler system, it is important to run through each sprinkler zone to make sure everything is working properly and you don't have any leaks. Then, adjust any sprinklers that may have shifted and program your controller for the spring. If you're looking for help with this process, give us a call to book your spring system activation with us today.
Our spring startup includes turning on your sprinkler system, checking for leaks or breaks, testing each valve, doing basic head adjustments, programming your sprinkler timer, visually inspecting valves and electrical components, and finishing with a post-inspection consultation to review any issues or recommended efficiency improvements.
You do not need to be home for your appointment. We do require that you have a card on file to streamline the process, and we need access to every part of your system. As long as your irrigation shutoff and system controller are accessible and your gates are unlocked, we can complete the entire sprinkler startup without you being home. Sometimes this means that if you won't be home, we need a garage door code. If we find anything that needs approval, we’ll contact you before performing any repairs!
Pricing starts at $249 for up to 6 zones, plus $15 per additional zone. In some cities, due to drive time and high demand, additional service fees may apply. Our pricing is clear and upfront with no surprise charges.
