PRVs, backflow installs, and plumbing tie-ins for our irrigation projects. Flexible, consistent subcontract work.

We’re looking for a licensed plumber who wants reliable, straightforward subcontracting work on irrigation-related plumbing tasks. Most of the jobs we need help with are simple but require a plumbing license for legal or safety reasons—things like culinary line taps, large backflow preventer installations, pressure-reducing valves, and mainline tie-ins.

This is an as-needed subcontractor role with flexible scheduling, consistent communication, and clear expectations. As our install division grows and larger projects come in, this partnership has the potential to grow into a steady, long-term contract with regular, predictable jobs.

If you want extra work, easy scheduling, and a company that’s professional, friendly, and organized, this is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

You’ll handle the plumbing tasks that require licensed expertise, including:

  • Culinary line taps for new sprinkler systems

  • Installing or replacing large backflow preventers

  • Setting and replacing pressure-reducing valves (PRVs)

  • Mainline tie-ins and shutoff valve installation

  • Supporting our install crews with high-pressure or complex connections

  • Ensuring compliance with Utah plumbing codes

  • Coordinating with our Install Division Lead on scheduling and scope

  • Providing professional insight on system plumbing layout when needed

Most jobs are simple and quick for an experienced plumber.

What This Job Is Like

This subcontractor role is ideal for someone who:

  • Wants extra income without full-time commitment

  • Manages their own schedule and availability

  • Enjoys clear, straightforward scopes of work

  • Prefers working outdoors on residential jobs

  • Likes partnering with a young, friendly, reliable team

  • Wants the opportunity for a permanent subcontracting relationship as leads grow

We value respectful, smooth working relationships and clean, professional results.

What You Bring

You should have:

  • A current Utah plumbing license

  • Experience with residential water lines, PRVs, and backflow installations

  • Ability to perform clean, code-compliant line taps

  • A professional demeanor with homeowners

  • Reliable transportation and your own tools

  • Reasonably fast response times for scheduling

  • Clean and efficient jobsite standards

No irrigation experience is required—our team handles everything beyond the plumbing.

Tools & Equipment

You’ll provide your own plumbing tools and materials as needed, though we can supply parts in advance when required.

We’ll coordinate:

  • Job details

  • Pictures of the site

  • Access logistics

  • Exact materials needed

  • Customer expectations

You’ll know exactly what you’re walking into ahead of time.

Culture & Partnership

We’re a young, positive, fast-growing irrigation company that values integrity, kindness, and high-quality work. We care about building safe, warm, professional relationships with everyone we partner with—including subcontractors.

You’ll be working with a team that:

  • Communicates clearly

  • Pays on time

  • Schedules efficiently

  • Respects your time

  • Makes jobs easy for you to complete

  • Creates a professional environment

  • Grows quickly, meaning more opportunities over time

Our crews are friendly, organized, and easy to work with.

What Success Looks Like

A great subcontractor:

  • Does clean, reliable plumbing work

  • Shows up when they say they will

  • Communicates clearly about scope and needs

  • Leaves customers confident and satisfied

  • Works well alongside our install crews

  • Helps us keep projects moving on schedule

If you enjoy doing good work without headaches, you’ll enjoy partnering with us.

Where This Leads

As our install division grows, this role can evolve into:

  • Ongoing, steady subcontracting work

  • Preferred vendor status

  • Large-system plumbing partnership

  • Commercial irrigation plumbing opportunities

  • More complex multi-day projects

If the relationship is a good fit and you perform well, this can easily become a consistent revenue stream for your plumbing business.

More about this role:
  • Even as a subcontractor, you’ll experience our culture of friendliness, integrity, and clear communication. We’re a young, well-organized team that respects your time, your craft, and your professionalism. We value reliable partnerships and strive to create a positive, respectful environment on every job. If you prefer working with a courteous, honest, easy-to-coordinate company, you’ll enjoy partnering with us.

  • Must lift 50-80 lbs, work outdoors or in confined spaces, kneel, bend, and handle plumbing tools and materials safely.

    • Must hold a Utah Residential Master Plumber or Commercial Master Plumber license

    • Must carry your own liability insurance

    • Experience with PRVs, backflow installations, and residential line taps

    • Reliable transportation and full plumbing toolset

    • Professional, friendly, and comfortable communicating with homeowners

    • Able to complete clean, code-compliant work independently

    • Must pass a background check and drug test

    • Dependable, punctual, and able to coordinate scheduling with our team

    • Consistent, straightforward plumbing work with flexible scheduling

    • Clear scopes of work and organized coordination from our install team

    • Fast payment and reliable communication

    • Opportunities for ongoing, steady subcontracting as our install division grows

    • Potential to secure a long-term plumbing partnership with regular weekly jobs

  • Subcontractor plumbers receive brief onboarding on our processes, expectations, and communication systems. We train you on how our install workflow operates, but you already bring the plumbing expertise needed for line taps, PRVs, and backflow installations.
