Join our install team to build high-quality sprinkler systems. Hands-on outdoor work, steady hours, and clear growth into a lead role.

If you like working hard, being outside, and being part of a solid crew, this job is honestly a blast. Our install team builds full sprinkler systems from the ground up, and you’ll be right there in the middle of it—digging, installing pipe, wiring valves, setting heads, testing systems, and helping create clean, professional irrigation installs all over Utah County and Salt Lake County.

You don’t need any experience to start. We’ll train you on everything. You’ll work with a 4-person crew, and by the end of the season you’ll know irrigation better than most “experienced” guys in the industry. Install days can be long and hot, but the work is satisfying and the crew becomes tight. You’ll be proud of the systems you put in the ground.

And honestly—finishing a job early and being able to go home with the same full-day pay feels amazing.

What You’ll Do

You’ll help build full underground sprinkler systems. A typical day includes:

  • Digging trenches and grading the yard

  • Laying PVC and poly/Blulock pipe

  • Installing sprinkler heads

  • Wiring and installing valves

  • Running pipe pullers or trenchers (we’ll train you)

  • Testing systems and getting clean coverage

  • Setting timers and walking the homeowner through basics

  • Cleaning up the jobsite so it looks better than when we arrived

Most weeks you’ll complete 2–3 installs, and you’ll get the satisfaction of seeing a full yard transformation in just a couple days.

What It’s Like

This job is:

  • Fast-paced

  • Hard-working

  • Outdoors in the heat

  • Physically demanding

  • Very team-oriented

But it’s also:

  • Fun

  • Rewarding

  • Chill crew vibes

  • A great way to get tan and strong

  • Something you actually feel proud of doing

You’re with the same 4-person crew every day, so you get close fast. The work is real, but so is the camaraderie.

Perks & Culture

Working here is more than the job. We do:

  • Company trips (Bear Lake, Sundance)

  • Campouts and barbecues

  • Pool parties

  • Golf events

  • Regular team dinners

We also provide:

  • Uniforms and work boots

  • A monthly gas stipend (you drive your own vehicle to jobs)

  • Paid overtime when needed

  • The ability to leave early with full pay if your crew crushes the job

It’s a solid environment if you want to work hard, stay active, and be part of a group that actually likes each other.

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need any experience—just:

  • Good attitude

  • Reliable work ethic

  • Willingness to learn

  • Ability to work outside all day

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs

  • Some basic English (you’ll talk to homeowners occasionally)

If you like staying active and working with your hands, you’ll pick this up fast.

Where This Leads

After one strong season, most install crew members move into:

  • Install Foreman / Division Lead
Where you’ll design systems, run heavy equipment, manage jobs, and even sell installs.

That’s where the real money is, and this role is the path to get there.

If you’re the type who likes to work hard, stay outside, and be part of a solid crew, you’ll love being on the install team.

More about this role:
  • At Storm Sprinklers, you’ll be part of a young, friendly, hard-working crew that actually enjoys working together. Our culture is built on integrity, daily self-improvement, and treating people with genuine kindness. Install crews have some of the strongest camaraderie in the company—working hard outside, listening to music or podcasts, finishing jobs as a team, and celebrating wins together. If you want a job where you feel supported, valued, and part of a fun, positive environment, you’ll fit right in.

  • Must lift 50-100 lbs, dig for extended periods, work outdoors in heat, bend, kneel, and operate hand tools safely.

    • No experience required — just a good attitude and willingness to learn

    • Must speak basic English (for simple homeowner communication)

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Able to reliably get to job sites

    • Must pass a background check and drug test

    • Dependable, hard-working, and able to follow instructions

    • Company trips, events, and activities (Bear Lake, Sundance, BBQs, campouts, pool parties, golf events)

    • Free uniforms and work boots

    • Paid training

    • Paid overtime

    • Gas stipend for driving to job sites

    • “Finish early, go home early” — full-day pay even if the job finishes ahead of schedule

    • Ability to listen to music, audiobooks, or podcasts while working

    • Opportunities for raises based on skill and performance

    • Clear growth path into Install Foreman, commercial/agricultural irrigation, or other leadership roles

    • Learn a valuable trade with long-term earning potential

    • Optional 401(k) matching and insurance benefits

  • Install crew members receive about 1 week of hands-on training focused on digging, pipe installation, valves, head placement, equipment basics, and jobsite cleanup. You’ll learn side-by-side with experienced crew members and pick up the full workflow quickly as you jump into real installs.
